New revelations in Shree Surya Foundation fraud case

Every day is bringing a new revelation on part of Shree Surya Foundation fraud case investigation. In the recent development,  it was discovered that the a huge amount of fund gathered on the name social organisations from investors had gone unnoticed. People have demanded a probe to dig into the details of this fund.

According to the sources, the firm deducted an amount of Rs 1000 from the account of every investor as membership fee. But, no detail of this Rs 1000 has been made in any of the accounts. It is to be mentioned that Director of the firm Sameer Joshi and his partner cum wife Pallavi Joshi had assimilated this money into their personal accounts.

The firm, in order to lure the investors, had promised to pay a hefty of Rs 12,500 interest in three months for the investment of Rs 1 lakh. The firm did pay a smart amount of Rs 12,500 against the investment of Rs 1 lakh to win over the trust of investors. However, the investors were not given any interest after sometime citing petty issues.

Sanjay Agrawal, RTI activist, said that he had submitted a written complaint earlier to the Income Tax Department. But, no action was taken on the official front.

Sanjay Agrawal said that many more surprising revelations will come to fore if Income Tax Department digs deep into the case. Further he said that, the firm had also duped the Department with crores of rupees.

 

CD of Shree Surya sting operation released on facebook

The CD of the sting operation carried out on the General Manager of Shree Surya Foundation Shirish, has been released on the social networking site facebook recently. The CD contains all the details of the sting operation. The CD was released with a view to alert the citizens.
