A glittering 31st Installation Ceremony of Lions Club of Nagpur Gondwana was held at Hotel LB, Nagpur on 28th July. Installing Officer, First Vice District Governor Shravan Kumar MJF has installed Chhaya Chandak as the President, Amin Dhamani as Secretary, Sonali Chaudhari as Treasurer and the board of directors for the lionistic year 2021-22. Second Vice District Governor, Balbir Singh Vij MJF inducted 16 new members in the club. Arun Kulkarni, Zone Chairperson shared information about the Zone and offered his good wishes to the newly elected President and her team. Many Awards and Certificates from Lions International were presented to the members by the guests.
The outgoing President Dr Pramod Rakshamwar handed over the charge to the incoming President Chhaya Chandak. He spoke about various service activities done during his tenure. President Chhaya Chandak in her acceptance speech emphasised on the Service activities concerning five global causes of Lions International – Diabetes, Vision, Childhood Cancer, Hunger and Environment. She also acknowledged the immense contribution of all the members in serving the society during last 30 years journey of the club.
