Nicotine free cigar found from Prahar student’s bag

Nagpur News : Pachpaoli police has booked a pan kiosk owner Dinesh Virani for allegedly selling intoxicating drug to a minor boy. Virani, 31, a resident of Bezonbagh, was booked under section 25 of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act. The minor is a seventh standard student of Prahar Vidyalaya. The incident came to light when the minor’s friends found the nicotine free cigarette in his bag and alerted teachers on Friday.

The school authorities immediately informed police. On questioning the boy, he told that he bought the cigarette from Virani’s kiosk in Pachpaoli area.
Senior police inspector D S Khobragade told that the cigarette has been sent for chemical analysis and Virani is arrested. He was produced in the court on Saturday and was sent to jail.
