The families of both the sides (bride and bridegroom) organize it such a way that there is a lot of pomp and show, including Haldi, Mehendi or Sangeet. All the pre-wedding ceremonies are full of events that leave an indelible mark in the minds of the young couple. However one of the most enjoyable pre-wedding celebrations is the Sangeet party. Traditionally what used to be a completely women’s event has men participating in the event nowadays.
The Sangeet party of the Nilawar family was no different. The Sangeet Party was organized in Bollywood theme. Right from the entrance cut-outs of various leading Actors and Actresses adorned the path to the venue. The venue was jam packed with friends and family members from both the bride and the bridegroom’s side.
In a well choreographed fashion, the Sangeet Party started with a dance troupe performing dances on some of the latest Bollywood numbers. This was followed by every Uncle and Aunt of the Bridegroom’s side performing dance on some of the romantic numbers. The younger lot which included the cousins from both the sides too left no stones unturned to make this Sangeet party lively with their well choreographed dance numbers.
The Bride Tejaswini and the Bridegroom Sumit Nilawar looked the most lovey-dovey couple. At one point, when the friends of the bridegroom were dancing, the bridegroom could not hold back and joined his friends in dancing away to a Bollywood dance number.
Amar Upadhyay regarded as one of the Television superstars who rose to fame as Mihir in mega TV daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi made a special appearance in the Sangeet Party since he is one of the close friends of the Nilawar family. He was present with his wife Hetal Upadhyay.
Finally the cherry on the cake was the slow dance by the Bride and the Bridegroom.
