The video byte of the occasion which is with Nagpur Today shows Gadkari challenging his opponents through provocative words. In the video Gadkari is seen saying to his party workers, “…kisi ki koi haisiyat nahi hai koi aukat nahi hai…darna nahi hai…na media ko darna, na netaon ko darna…eent ka jawaab paththar se dena…hum kisi ko chhorenge nahi, kisi ko marenge nahi…koi haath aaya to ukhadkar todkar phek denge, aisi taaqat dikhao, aapke peeche mein khada hoon.” (Nobody has any capacity…do not scare from anybody…neither from media nor from leaders, just dole out befitting reply to all…we will not spare anyone, nor we will beat them up…if anybody comes our way we will uproot them and break them apart…Show such a display of strength, I am stading behind you.”

Meanwhile in his complaint, Anand said that Gadkari’s speech to his party workers was quite intimidating and threatening to the social fabric of the city.

Talking to Nagpur Today, Anand said the way in which Gadkari directed his party workers to teach lesson to his opponents is quite objectionable. “Gadkari has spelled out clear cut message to his followers to set all his opponents right. He has asked his party workers to break the restrictions and ‘go ahead’ to teach his rivals lesson without worrying for the repercussions. He has even assured them of backing the party workers in case any problem arises in their ‘course of action’ against all those who stood against him”, Anand said.

He said that using such an inflammatory language amounts to legal offence and we have asked the cops to take strict action against such activities intending to disturb the social peace.

As per the complaint, Gadkari reportedly expressed before his party workers there were few restrictions on him due to which he could not initiate anything against his ‘enemies’, adding that there are no such restrictions on the party workers. He signaled them to use all measures to corner his opponents in whichever way possible.

Jammu said that the cops had assured him of inquiring into the matter and if anything ‘objectionable’ comes out then further action would be initiated against Gadkari.
