Nagpur: Mayor Pravin Datke, Deputy Mayor Munna Pokulwar and Chairman of Standing Committee Ramesh Singare paid homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary today. They garlanded the oil portrait of Gandhi at Mayor’s Chamber. A two-minute silence was observed to mark the occasion.
The Ruling Party Leader in NMC Dayashankar Tiwari, Education Committee Chairman Gopal Bohre, Transport Committee Chairman Sudhir (Bandu) Raut, Health Committee Chairman Devendra Mehar, Additional Commissioner R Z Siddiqui, Assistant Commissioner Prakash Varade, Deputy Enginner R S Kamble and other officials were present on the occasion.
