Nagpur: Love is something that binds us together! Perhaps that’s why we thrive, seek, and admire love in all sorts of forms. While nothing can match the feeling of being in love, especially at a tender age, some restaurants and cafés in the Second Capital of the State are exploiting this genuine emotion to extort money from young couples.

According to sources, several cafés in Nagpur are providing a safe haven for young couples to spend some “private time” in exchange for a hefty amount on an hourly basis. The obnoxious rate boards at famous cafés and restaurants are often a common sight; however, these so-called cafés offering “private time” for young lovebirds charge extra for the undue favors they are offering.

Some locals from the Sakkardara area informed Nagpur Today that some of these cafés operate near Sakardara Lake. Despite several complaints from the locals to authorities, no actions were taken against anyone, they said.

Cafés have put in extra effort to create special sections in their vicinity. Ranging from ‘special cabins’ at expensive prices to ‘curtain covers’ to protect them from ‘evil eyes’, which could obstruct their “private time”, these establishments ensure everything.

While these establishments cater to school kids and college-goers, stories of love and betrayal often unfold near these establishments. Videos of altercations have also gone viral on various occasions on social media.

Though love can be difficult, the security of your partner is equally paramount. So kindly refrain from going to any unsecured destination. One is always in need of love, and certainly, there are no boundaries when you’re feeling that affection.
