Nagpur: A Delhi-based court on Monday rejected the anticipatory bail application of former Aam Adami Party MLA and Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti, and also issued non-bailable warrant against him. Somnath is now planning to approach the Delhi High Court, said media reports.
It was Addl Sessions Judge, Sanjay Garg, who had rejected the anticipatory bail application of Somnath in the criminal cases of domestic violence and attempt to murder lodged against him under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code on Thursday with Dwarka police station of West Delhi.
According to police, Lipika, wife of Somnath Bharti had earlier lodged an FIR against him on June 10, 2015 as well.
