Notorious burglars held while on way to sell stolen TV on bike

Nagpur : Yashodhara Nagar Police have apprehended two notorious burglars attempting to sell stolen items. The arrested accused have been identified as Rahul Kamal Manikpuri (32) and Amar Munidar Mishra (28), both residents of Yogi Arvind Nagar.

According to police, the arrest follows a recent burglary at the residence of Rajendra Shamrao Dhoke in Awale Nagar, Teka Naka area. Jaripatka Police had registered a case in connection with the burglary. The police team were on patrol when they observed two persons transporting a television
on a motorcycle.

Suspicious of their activities, the police stopped them for questioning. However, the duo failed to provide a satisfactory explanation regarding the TV.

Upon further investigation, the two confessed to their involvement in the burglary at Dhoke’s residence. They also revealed that they intended to sell the stolen television. The police arrested both accused.

They confessed for their involvement in burglaries in Jaripatka, Kamptee, Ramtek, and Seloo. The police seized three televisions, cylinders, three vehicles, and gold and silver jewelry valued at Rs five lakhs from the accused. Acting under the guidance of DCP Zone V Niketan Kadam, ACP Santosh Khandekar, the arrest was made by Senior Police Inspector Dhnyaneshwar Bhedokar, API Vilas Mote, Narendra Tayde, Bhagwat Kalinge, Ravi Sawatkar, and others.
