Novel Campaign by NMC get good response as many Nagpurians switched off light

Nagpur News : Many part of the city went into dark for one hour as people switched off their light ON CALL  of NMC to contribute in energy conservation.

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation has initated a novel campaign keeping in mind the increasing pressure on the environment.  The campaign suggests keeping all lights off for an hour between 8 pm and 9 pm on every full moon day.

Increased human activity has also increased energy consumption which has become a threat to natural resources. The moon radiates enough light on a full moon night. Mayor Anil Sole and municipal commissioner Shyam Wardhane had urged people to switch off all lights to contribute in energy conservation.
