Nagpur: Nagpur Spirits Round Table 258 (NSRT) is organising various activities for the under privileged children of different schools during the Round Table India Week which is being held from Nov 11 to 18.
On Nov 11 they held a Leadership and Personality Development session on ‘Girl Child Abuse Prevention Awareness’ at Sangam Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Nara. As a part of the National Go Green, the NSRT-258 and Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank held a tree plantation programme in the school premises. The kids planted saplings on the occasion.
Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank also organised a blood donation camp at Shri Shivam Fortune Mall where nearly 60 people participated.
To mark the Children’s Day and National Taare Zameen Par Day celebration, NSRT 258 has planned a day long educational picnic for 50 students and teaching staff of Deshmukh High school, Lakadganj at Raman Science Centre. They will be provided lunch at the venue.
As part of the National Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Day, the NSRT will participate in cleaning the park and cage area of Maharajbagh Zoo on Nov 15. Artificial limbs to the needy will be donate on Nov 16 by NSRT 258.
An exciting market will be set up on Nov 17 for the inmates of Shradhanand Anathalaya where children will be given some mock money and they could buy various things from the stalls st up there.
The RTI Week will conclude on Nov 18 with a nature trek and table fellowship at Gorewada Zoo.
