Nagpur: Sensation prevailed in Vidhan Bhavan vicinity after a nude body of a female was found lying dead under mysterious circumstances here, on Monday. The incident was reported under Sadar Police Station.
Earlier, it was alleged that the female was raped, as there were cloths of a male lying adjacent to her body. However, Senior Police Inspector, Sadar, Vinod Chaudhary has ruled out the possibility of rape.

Speaking to Nagpur Today, Sr PI Vinod Chaudhary informed that, “The woman was nomad. We are identifying the deceased. However, the allegation of rape is baseless. We have sent the body for autopsy, only after which the exact reason behind the death could be ascertained,” he said.
Cops have lodged a case under relevant sections of the IPC and are probing further.
