Nagpur: Lakadganj Police seized 40 boxes containing 2,340 spoolsof banned nylon manja valued at Rs 18.24 lakh in front of Aman Cargo Transport Company on Quetta Colony Road on Thursday. Cops arrested one Mohammad Hassanul Ashraf Mohammad Iqbal Shaikh (22), a resident of Juna Jail khana Road, Bhaldarpura, in this connection.
Acting on a specific information, a police team raidedthe place and seized the hugeconsignment of banned nylonmanja. Later, cops took accusedMohammad Hassanul intocustody after confirming that he had ordered the consignment online from Mumbai forillegal sale of nylon manja inthe city on ‘Makar Sankranti.’
