Nagpur, 18 May 2024, With the onset of scorching summer temperatures, the looming specter of water scarcity calls for proactive measures. In response, Orange City Water (OCW), in collaboration with the Green Vigil Foundation, launched a Water Conservation Drive under the banner of “जल संवर्धन, एक पहल, जो सँवारे कल…”.

The primary objective of this campaign is to foster a culture of responsible water usage by urging individuals to conserve a minimum of 3 liters of water daily & promote hydration amidst rising temperatures to ensure the well-being of citizens during the hot summer months.
This Water Conservation Drive encompasses drawing competition and community engagement initiatives to raise awareness about water conservation’s importance. The awareness program has been conducted in areas like Ekatmata Nagar, Ganga Nagar, Khalasi Line, Sangharsh Nagar, Bhimwadi, and Kaushalyan Nagar, receiving great response in the form of participation from the consumers.
We have planned to felicitate individuals from the above-mentioned areas who perform well by saving a large amount of water. OCW and the Green Vigil Foundation urge citizens to join hands in this noble endeavor and take proactive steps toward water conservation. Together, we can create a sustainable future where every drop of water is cherished and utilized responsibly.
