Nagpur News:

The officials of Orange City Water (OCW) are likely to face strong action for playing with public lives and a complaint against them could be lodged in this regard in Nandanvan Police Station. The Corporator from the area complained against OCW officials and submitted a memorandum to Nandanvan second Police Inspector Gaikar for action against the officials.

It may be mentioned that the citizens of Hasanbagh Darshan Nagar areas under Ward No. 44 have been getting polluted water supply since one year. Surprisingly, no action was taken despite lodging complaints in writing to Mayor, NMC Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner and concerned Water Supply Department authorities. The problem was also raised in the NMC meeting still the problem was not resolved. There was a demand to lay a new pipeline replacing the age-old one. But here also no action was taken and the old pipeline continues to supply polluted water. Finally, Ward 44 Corporator Malutai Tanaji Wanve reached Nandanwan Police Station and lodged a complaint against OCW officials. She asked the police to register an FIR against them
