Nagpur: In one more hit-and-run mishap, an 87-year old man was knocked dead by a rashly driven four-wheeler while he was on an evening stroll on RPTS Road under Bajaj Nagar police area on Friday.
A resident of Plot No. 65, RPTS Road, Surendra Nagar, Ramrao Baliram Mange (87), was on an evening stroll on Ajni-RPTS Road around 6.45 pm on Friday. During the same, a red-cherry coloured four-wheeler, driven recklessly, hit Mange forcefully. A seriously injured Ramrao was taken to Orange City Hospital but doctors declared dead on admission.

Bajaj Nagar Woman PSI Umale, based on a complaint lodged by Pravin Ramrao Mange (49), son of the deceased, registered a case under Sections 279, 304(A) of the IPC read with Section 184 of Motor Vehicles Act against the unidentified driver and searching for him.
