A 72-years-old man was murdered in Yashodhara Nagar on February 22, 2015 at around 4 am. The deceased has been identified as Hamid Khan Kallu Khan. The police are still clue-less about the murderers. It could not be ascertained as to why Hamid was murdered or who murdered her.
According to police sources, the old man Hamid Khan Kallu Khan is a resident of Wanjra Layout, Shiv Nagar. At around 4 am on February 22, 2015, some unidentified accused had murdered her with sharp edged weapons.
On receipt of information, Assistant Police Inspector Ghuge of Yashodhara Nagar Police Station reached the spot along with his staff. After completing the necessary formalities like Panchanama, the cops sent the dead-body to Government Hospital for Post-Mortem. Assistant Police Inspector Ghuge of Yashodhara Nagar Police Station is investigating the case.
Deceased alone at home
Sources said that the deceased Hamid Khan was alone at the time of the incident. He used to get-up early in the morning and go for morning walk. However, when he did not get out of his house, his son Shakeel Khan went inside his room to check on his father. There he found his father lying in a pool of blood. He was already dead when he went in. It was Shakeel Khan who informed the police about the murder. After that Assistant Police Inspector Ghuge of Yashodhara Police Station arrived at the spot. There are many speculations about the cause of the murder, the murderers etc. The police are suspecting that some close relative of Hamid Khan has a hand in the crime. The police are also investigating in this directions.
