NAGPUR: Following an order from the administration of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), old Post-Graduation students at the university’s boys’ hostel at Ravi Nagar have vacated their rooms while the process of allotting the same rooms to new Post-Graduation students has also started.

The university in its recent order had decided that only those students, taking fresh admissions to post-graduation courses, shall be allotted the hostel rooms while the students, who register themselves for double post-graduation, would have to vacate the hostel. The PG students had strongly opposed the decision and also staged a demonstration at the university campus on Amravati Road.
