As per the preliminary details, the cop was on regular vehicle checking drive at Samvidhan Square when he found accused Ansari without helmet. When the traffic cop Chaudhary sought licence from the accused, Ansari told the cop that he has forgotten his license back in home. Thus the traffic cop asked him to call home and get his license. Following which an argument broke out between them. Ansari then called his friend who apparently pushed the cop due to which a 51-year-old victim fell on the road. Subsequently the accused Ansari started hitting blows on the traffic cop. The accused also used his bike keys to attack complainant cop following which he suffered severe bruises on his face.
