One arrested for molesting and robbing elderly woman; another accused still at large

Nagpur News : An elderly woman filed a complaint of molestation and robbery with Nandanvan police station on Monday. Cops have arrested one while search for another accused is on.

According to information, the complainant woman (65), was a vegetable vendor and had a stall near Hanuman Mandir, Hasanbagh Road. On Monday evening, two persons namely Abdul alias Sonu Shahrukh Khan and Abdul Raza Khan Abdul Raziq Khan (29) approached her. They slapped her, and snatched away Rs 300 cash from her and molested her by using abusing language.

On the complaint of the victim, Nandanvan police registered an offence under Sections 394, 354 and 34 of the IPC and arrested Abdul Raza, a resident of Hasanbagh, Chandni Chowk. However, the other accused is still at large.
