Nagpur: ‘Good players inspire themselves, Great players inspire others.’ The Online Inter-School Sportathon Championship closing ceremony was held at The Achievers School on 29thAugust 2021.The Championship had commenced on 23rd July 2021.This one and half month long Online Inter- School championship had four events namely chess, yoga, gymnastics and a sports quiz.
About 155 students had participated from various schools namely Global Public School Kochi, Reliance Foundation Vadodara, Delhi Public School Gwalior, Ram Ratna International School Mumbai, Narayana Vidyalayam Nagpur, Sandipani Hazaripahad Nagpur, R.S. Mundle Samarth Nagar Nagpur, Pandit Bachraj School Nagpur & Bhavan’s B. P. Vidya Mandir, Trimurti Nagar Nagpur. The participants had given a tough time to the judges by displaying their talent in magnificent way.

This Sportathon championship inspired students with an early love for sports and fitness that will provide the foundation for healthy living. A great deal of enthusiasm was seen among the participating students. The students had brought a proud moment for their schools by begging medals in different events in this championship. The young Achievers had also astounded everyone through their commendable performance in Quiz Competition held today.
The closing ceremony of the championship was graced by honourable Chief Guest Mrs Shamim Mohamed, Head of Enrichment ProgrammeGlobal Public School Kochi, Kerala. She said-‘Staying active, challenging yourselves to move and to workout, stay healthy and build your stamina should be our mantra for the day.’ She also congratulated the participants and their parents for encouraging their children to participate in such a mega event.
Mr.Ravi Nair, Head Physical Education Department Fr. Agnel School Vashi Mumbai was the Guest of Honour for the occasion. Mr. Piyush Ambulkar,Krida Adhikari Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Mr. Nagesh Chaudhari,Chairman, NK Tours & Travels also congratulated the participants, the sport teachers, their team and the management of The Achievers School for organizing this first ever Online Sport Championship.
Founder Directors Mr Nitin Katiyar and Mrs Sapna Katiyar congratulated the participants for their spectacular achievements and wished them all the best for their future endeavours in the field of sports and shine like a star.Director-Academics and Principal-Dr.Priyadarshini Deoghare, congratulated the students and appreciated their magnificent performance. Mr.Dhiraj Kadao, PET of The Achievers School was recognized for the zealous preparation of conducting this Sportathan- Online Inter-school Championship. Indeed, it was a proud moment to cherish.
