Wielding a knife to threaten, they demanded a ransom of Rs 10,000. Upon Sahu’s refusal, the situation escalated, resulting in physical violence. Jaripatka police had registered a case of attempt to murder and apprehended Sakhre. He was released on bail recently.

However, the release did not deter Sakhre from his criminal activities. On Monday night, he returned to the scene, issuing threats to Sahu. He demanded Rs 50,000 from Sahu and even warned of dire consequences if the demand wasn’t met.

A case under Sections 384, 294 and 506 (2) of Indian Penal Code was registered by Kapil Nagar police and the goon was arrested.
