New Delhi: Pakistan to hand over today soldier Chandu Chavan, who strayed across the Line of Control hours after the surgical strike in September last year, to Indian authorities at Wagah.
Last week, Union Minister of State for Defence Subhash Bhamre had said that Pakistan military authorities have committed to the release of Chavan.
“They (Pakistan) have admitted that Chavan is alive, and that they will soon release him after inquiry, which is nearing completion,” Bhamre had said.
