Nagpur: As the 2024 Assembly elections approach in Maharashtra, political parties have intensified their campaign preparations. In line with this, on Thursday, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended an event in Jaitala, located in his South-West Nagpur constituency. During Fadnavis’ speech, a snake appeared at the venue, causing panic among the attendees. However, the security personnel present at the event, along with a snake rescuer, quickly captured the snake.
The event in Jaitala’s Ekatmata Nagar was organized for the distribution of kits and boxes provided by the State Government to building construction workers. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the program, during which approximately 4,000 people received kits.
After speeches from several leaders, Fadnavis began addressing the audience. He outlined the work done during his tenure as Chief Minister, as well as ongoing efforts. It was during his speech that a snake suddenly appeared on the field. As soon as people saw the snake, panic spread throughout the venue. Fear caused many to run around in chaos.
Seeing the commotion, the Deputy Chief Minister tried to calm the crowd. He also immediately instructed the security personnel and the snake rescuer to capture the snake. The snake rescuer quickly caught the snake, bringing relief to the citizens present.
