Daughter of Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Payal says that students can pursue higher studies abroad but should return back for boosting prestige of nation in all fields.
Nagpur: Payal, daughter of Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, made her parents and city of Nagpur proud by clearing the LLM examination from Essex University, United Kingdom, with aplomb. Payal carved her name in merit list of the high-profile examination.
The LLM examination is regarded as very prestigious and of international standards. Payal cleared the exam in the subject ‘International Business Law.’
According to Essex University rules, those students who bag more than 60 percent marks are included in merit list.
Payal secured her name in the merit list by scoring 64 percent marks. Now, Payal will be bestowed with ‘Master in International Business Law’ degree following her meritorious success.
She passed the exam in six subjects of three semesters conducted in a year. Major international companies in corporate sector need legal consultants in larger scale. Hence students quest for this prestigious course.
After passing the LLM examination, Payal Bawankule sounded diplomatic. She said, those students who clear the course usually settle in London itself because they are offered jobs with hefty salaries. Thus, India is deprived of the knowledge gained by such students. They should instead return to India and put the nation on world map,” opined Payal.
Payal did her BA, LLB from Nagpur University and then proceeded to UK for LLM studies.
