Nagpur: Whenever chief minister Devendra Fadnavis is in Nagpur, he most of the time meets common people and hears their grievances. He has kept Sunday specially for people. But during visit to Nagpur on Friday, he met people and accepted applications. Chief minister accepted over 1,000 letters in three hours.
Memorandums of various demands like rehabilitation of various project affected persons, weavers issues, problems of teachers in various schools, supply of four wheelers to physically challenged persons, allocation of land ownership belts, construction of road in Kalmeshwar, salaries and pension to staff of defunct corporations, issues of Jeeandayee Arogya Yojana, help to heart patients, women”s self help groups in rural areas, plots in industrial area in Gadhchiroli, issues related to Dhangar, Halba and Koshti communities, etc were submitted to chief minister in person.
Large number of women met chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and urged him to increase duration of supply of nutritious food to anganwadis from one month to one year.
One woman who is financially backward, met chief minister with her child for seeking help in completing education. Chief minister informed her there is concession in completing education and educate her son and assured all required help. Chief minister clearly stated actual scenario to people who had come to demand employment and assured help to them. Chief minister left for another important meeting after accepting application of last person.
