On November 4, 2013, at 11:45 pm the complainant Ganesh Vinayak Shende (24) and his brother Suresh Shende a resident of Pujaram Wadi, lane no 9 and the accused family consisting of 1. Santosh Gedam, 2. Kesri Gedam, 3. Rajendra Gawande, 4. Anil alias Anna Yadav all residents of Pujaram Wadi, Dipti Signal had a quarrel over a small child.
This quarrel escalated and the accused picked up swords, spear-heads, and other sharp weapons and attacked the complainant and his brother on his head and stomach and critically injured them. Similarly, the complainent’s brother Ramesh Shende who intervened and tried to save his brothers was also attacked with intention of killing him. He received injuries to his hand. The injured are being treated at Mayo Hospital.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by Poupani Tripathi, Kalamna Police has registered a case against the accused under section 307, 326, 324, 34 of Indian Penal Code and 4 +25 of CRPC and under section 135 of Bombay Police Act and are investigating further.
