PM Modi to grace MSME event in Wardha on Sept 19 or 20

Nagpur: Apart from the zeal of Ganesh festival starting from September 7, Nagpurians will witness movement of very important personalities after mid-September.

On September 15, the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar will be in Nagpur while Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Wardha either on September 19 or 20. The Vice-President will grace a programme to be held at Ramdeobaba University on September 15.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will grace the ceremony to be held to mark the first anniversary of PM Vishwakarma Yojana. The scheme, which comes under the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), was launched on September 17, 2023. The Prime Minister has decided to celebrate the first anniversary of the scheme in Wardha. According to reports, the date of Modi’s visit has not been finalized yet but it will be either September 19 or September 20.

Modi will arrive in Nagpur and then leave for Wardha. At Wardha he will inaugurate the programme organised by MSME to mark the occasion of completion of one year of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana. MSME has organised a grand exhibition in Wardha which will also be opened by Modi. The expo will have the display of all 18 trades run under PM Vishwkarma Yojana. The scheme provides holistic and end-to-end support to artisans and craftspeople for skill training, modern tools etc.
