Police Raid at Hookah Parlor in Nagpur’s House of Hell Café!

Nagpur: Bajaj Nagar police raided the House of Hell Café in Nagpur on Friday night, uncovering an illegal hookah parlor operating on the premises. In the raid, seven individuals were charged in connection with the incident. The accused include Azhar Rafiq Shaikh (38), a resident of Ghatate Building Block No. 3, Ramdaspeth; Rehan Negi (30), residing at AGO Office Building, Civil Lines; Manikanta Reddy (23), from Ichhapuram, Andhra Pradesh, currently residing at VNIT College; Chetan Reddy (19), from Sitarama Puram, Andhra Pradesh, also residing at VNIT College; Virboyina Aditya Vardhan (19), from Vivekanand Nagar Colony, Hyderabad, Telangana, also at VNIT College; Shubham Prakash Uike (30), resident of Plot No. 72, Omkar Nagar; and Sonyk Vilas Vidhayatkar (27), from Pandhri Bodi.

During the raid, police seized items worth ₹17,580. According to sources, the authorities received a tip-off about the hookah parlor operating at the café located near Bajaj Nagar Square. Acting on this information, they conducted the raid around midnight between Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18. Seven individuals were caught illegally consuming hookah at the time of the raid. Charges have been filed under relevant sections of the Bombay Narcotic Substances (BNS) Act. Further investigations are underway.
