President arrives in Nagpur leaves for Chhindwara

Nagpur: President Pranab Mukherjee was in Nagpur today for a short span as he changed flights for his visit to Chhindwara district in Madhya Pradesh to attend a CII programme.

Mukherjee, who arrived by a special flight, was received at the Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport by Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, CM Devendra Fadnavis city mayor Pravin Datke and top civil and military officials.

The President boarded a helicopter and proceeded to Chhindwara. He will return to Nagpur in the evening and fly back to Delhi, official sources said.
