Nagpur: Hailing from Nagpur, Maharashtra, 22-year-old Priyanshi Kashyap, a data processing analyst based in Chennai, recently achieved a significant milestone in her lifelong dream of entering the pageant industry. Since childhood, Priyanshi harbored a passion for the world of glamour, often emulating fashion show models with immense joy.
In a supportive family comprising her parents, an elder brother, and grandparents who always championed her ambitions, Priyanshi pursued her early education at JN Tata Parsi Girls High School and later attended Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Gandhibagh, for junior college. Her pursuit of higher studies led her to Bangalore, and subsequently, she secured a position in a multinational corporation in Chennai. However, the corporate life failed to fulfill her deeper purpose.
Her aspiration found a new avenue when she discovered Diadem’s pageant, a platform that promised to kickstart her journey in the industry. Aware of the esteemed director, Amisha Chaudhary, Priyanshi eagerly participated in the auditions and, upon selection, traveled to Mumbai for the grand finale. The event included grooming sessions and various pageant rounds, such as personal interviews, ramp walks, and talent showcases.
The grand finale featured renowned actor Amruta Khanvilkar among the jury members, and the contestants adorned designer outfits with makeup by the prestigious Lakme Academy. Priyanshi’s standout performance earned her the subtitle of Miss Best Ramp Walk 2023. She proceeded to clinch the first place among the top 7 finalists, eventually securing the 2nd Runners Up title in the Miss category.
The nerve-wracking Q&A round during the finale proved to be a triumph for Priyanshi as she impressed the judges with her answers. The crowning ceremony marked the realization of her dream, filling her with joy and happiness.
Looking ahead, Priyanshi envisions participating in more national and international pageants, proudly representing India. Her ambitions extend to a thriving career in the modeling industry, aspiring to become a renowned brand. Eagerly anticipating opportunities in fashion shows, Priyanshi aims to collaborate with top designers and grace their runways with her presence.
