Nagpur: Children are the cornerstone of a nation’s future, and Ekal Abhiyan has been making significant strides in nurturing academic, cultural, and sports skills among these young minds. Prof. Sanjay Dudhe, the Vice-Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, commended Ekal Abhiyan’s dedicated work, expressing optimism that this effort would contribute to India’s evolution into a VishwaGuru.

The National Sports Championships organized by Ekal Mission Abhyudaya Youth Club concluded at the Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj University Stadium on Amravati Marg, with Prof. Sanjay Dudhe lauding the participating athletes and praising Ekal Abhiyan for successfully executing this large-scale project. He highlighted that sports provide a platform for many talents, and Nagpur University has adopted numerous deserving and talented sportspersons.

The special guest for the event wad presiding officer was Smt. Chitratai Joshi, All India Co-ordinator of Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Ekal Abhiyan National incharge Shri Madhvendra Ji Singh.

Chitratai Joshi, in her presidential address, extended best wishes for the Shri Ram Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya and emphasized the beauty and significance of India. She urged the players to see India not just as a piece of land but as a nurturing mother, encouraging them to develop themselves through sports. Drawing inspiration from Mirabai Chanu’s silver medal win at the Tokyo Olympics, she motivated the athletes to strive for excellence and bring glory to the country.

The program also marked the conclusion of the second National Games, with Odisha announced as the host for next year’s National Games.

The wrestling category saw Maharashtra’s dominance, with siblings Bhavesh and Arjun Varaghde securing gold medals in the 45 kg and 48 kg weight categories, respectively. In Kabaddi, Mahakoshal and Uttarakhand emerged victorious in the boys and girls categories.

The event concluded with a live telecast of the Shri Ram Pran Pratishtha ceremony from Ayodhya, bringing together athletes from across the country in joyous celebration.

Pramod Agnihotri moderated the entire program, and Deepali Gadge delivered the vote of thanks.

For the success of this sports competition, the President of Ekal Gram Sangathan Mrs. Aruna Purohit, Secretary Deepali Gadge, Treasurer Bagesh Mahajan, Ramchandra Matade, Nikhil Gadge, Vanbandhu Parishad President Dilip Jaju, Manididi Goenka, Dutta Fadnavis, Rekha Amte, Vidula Pathak, Neelima Paunikar, Mamta Kedia, Shakuntala Aggarwal, Uday Damle, Supriya Mangalurkar, Shubda Telang, Swapna Kulkarni, Kavita Khemka, Seema Aggarwal, Sunita Khanorkar etc. worked hard.
