Nagpur: The project affected will be given jobs in the new extended scheme of Gondegaon and Ghatrohana near here informed MLA D Mallikarjun Reddy while addressing a press conference.
It my be mentioned that the WCL had acquired the land of farmers of Gondegaon and Ghatrohana in 1994. The farmers were assured compensation for the land and a job. Soon after acquiring the land WCL just conveniently forgot of compensation of farmers.
MLA Reddy took cognisance of the matter and put forth before the union minister and finally the 201 project affected farmers of 1994-2018 will be given jobs. Similarly, the rehabilitation of Gondegaon will be done soon on Borda road in Kandri gram panchayat.

MLA Reddy said that the work of four lane of Multi-lane connectivity Kandri-Kanhan to Nagpur National Highway is of 35 mts and there is no change in the work and attention would be paid to quality.
Present on the occasion were Kanhan Municipal President Shankar Chahande, Vice-President Manohar Pathak, Parseoni Taluka President Jairam Meharkule, Municipal Councillor Rajendra Shendra, Hiralalk Gupta, Mahadeo Kirpan, Shashrao Kumbhalkar, Sanjay Katyani, Pankaj Gondane, Atul Hazare, Surendra Budhe, Tekadi Sarpanch Sunita Meshram, Kandri Gram Panchayat Member Vibha Potbhare, and BJP office bearers were present on the occasion.
