Nagpur: “I am proud of my students Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, who are striving for the people of the country” beamed alleged naxal think-tank Prof G N Saibaba on Thursday, after his release from Central Prison on orders of Supreme Court.
He was addressing the media persons outside the prison premises, where his wife Vasanta had arrived from New Delhi and brother Bhau Ramdeo from Hyderabad, to pick him.
When asked his opinion about his relations with Kanhaiya Kumar and other students from JNU who were recently charged with sedition, Prof Saibaba replied: “I am a teacher and they are my students.
