Nagpur: A 5-year-old boy was knocked dead after a rashly driven private bus commuting between Umred-Nagpur hit him near Pandav College of Engineering, here on Wednesday. Irked over the incident, the locals reportedly broke the glasses of the bus, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Shubham Sajan Kakde, a resident of Parseoni.

According to sources, the rashly driven bus dashed Shubham near Pandav College. Shubham succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Fumed over the incident, some locals broke the glasses of the bus.
Though, the bus driver reportedly fled the spot fearing the wrath of the mob.
In the meantime, the cops have rushed to spot and sent body for autopsy. Further investigations are on.
