Nagpur : The Quick Heal Cyber Warrior Clubs, were formally inaugurated in a grand ceremony held at the Priyadarshini College of Engineering campus. The event marked the beginning of a significant initiative aimed at spreading cyber awareness and promoting cybersecurity education among students and the wider community.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Mrs. Anupama Katkar, Chairperson of the Quick Heal Foundation, Mr. Ajay Shirke, Associate Director QHF, Dr. Vivek Nanoti, Director Engineering LTJSS , and Dr.Shrikrushna Dhale, Principal PCE, Principals, faculty coordinators and cyber warriors of other colleges along with a large gathering of enthusiastic students.
During the ceremony, badges were distributed to the newly appointed Cyber Warriors, who have been selected to lead the “Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha” initiative. This initiative is in collaboration with the Quick Heal Foundation and Maharashtra Cyber Police Department.
The leadership team of the Quick Heal Cyber Warrior Club was also introduced during the event. for PCE Alhan Siddique is appointed as the President, while Trushna Gandhare as Secretary. Harsh Ratthe as Community Director and Harshal Borkar is named the PR/Media Director, along with other dedicated Cyber warriors.
The esteemed guests delivered inspiring speeches during the ceremony. Mrs. Anupama Katkar emphasized the importance of cybersecurity awareness in today’s digital age and praised the collaborative efforts of the Quick Heal Foundation and PCE in launching this initiative. Mr. Ajay Shirke highlighted the role of engineering students in driving technological advancements and their responsibility to ensure digital safety. Dr. Vivek Nanoti spoke about the college’s commitment to providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle cyber threats. Dr.Shrikrushna Dhale underscored the significance of such initiatives in creating a safer online environment for the community.
Prof. Bhagyashree Dharaskar Coordinator and SPOC of Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha programme who has taken initiative along with Prof. Priyanka Padmane Faculty Coordinator worked hard for the success of the programme.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Alhan Siddique, acknowledging the contributions of all dignitaries, coordinators, and students who made the inauguration ceremony a resounding success.
