Nagpur: The weather in Vidarbha has been experiencing significant fluctuations in recent days, directly impacting people’s health. While some areas are facing scorching heat, others have seen sporadic rain showers. Just three days ago, temperatures in Vidarbha soared past 30 degrees Celsius.
The region continues to experience the October heat, but scattered rainfall has provided some relief in certain areas. On Thursday, several parts of Vidarbha witnessed moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.

Today, on October 11, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast similar weather, with thunderstorms and moderate rain expected in Nagpur, Washim, Yavatmal, and Buldhana districts. Other areas in the region may see partly cloudy skies with light showers, while some places could experience brief sunshine.
In Amravati, moderate rain and thunderstorms were observed on Thursday, creating mixed conditions for local agriculture. While the rain benefits cotton crops, it poses a threat to soybean yields. The IMD has warned residents to be prepared for further rain in the coming days.
