Nagpur: The rainfall that lashed Nagpur on Friday morning brought significant relief from the sweltering heat. The rain began at 7:00 am and continued until 8:00 am, recording 2 mm of rainfall within just an hour.
While the city experienced heavy rainfall in July and the first week of August, the intensity of the rain reduced from the second week onwards. Over the past few days, there has been no rain in the city, leading to increased humidity and heat, causing discomfort for the residents.
Due to the lack of rain and rising humidity, the city’s temperature had been consistently increasing. According to information from the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city on Friday was recorded at 23.5°C, while the maximum temperature reached 34°C.
