Krishna Raj Kapoor, who was late Raj Kapoor’s wife and mother of Randhir Kapoor, Ritu Kapoor Nanda, Rishi Kapoor, Rima Kapoor Jain and Rajiv Kapoor, passed away today, October 1 at 4 am at the age of 88. She had been complaining of breathlessness over the past couple of years. Krishna Raj was the eldest member of the Kapoor family.

Krishna Raj Kapoor was known to be a woman of great stature and courage. After Raj Kapoor’s death in 1988, she held the entire family together and was solely responsible for her 5 kids.
