Raja Inderjeet Singh Tuli, 35, belonging to a family of one of the well-known hoteliers in Nagpur has been booked by Jaripatka police on the charges of thrashing his 24 year old maid, hurling abuses at her and eventually molesting her at his residence near Kadbi Square here on Saturday. The maid also alleged that Tuli had threatened her of dire consequences if she dared to approach the cops.
Police sub-inspector at Jaripatka police station Hargude informed that the maid has been working for quite some time at Tuli’s residence at bungalow no. 5, Sujeevan Colony near Kadbi square. On Saturday, when the maid came up to Raja and insisted on leaving the work, he was adamant on not relieving her. But she kept on pressing her way, which irked Tuli. He started hurling abuses at her and even thrashed her with fists and blows. After roughing her up, Tuli allegedly threatens her to keep shut or face the music in future.

The woman however gathered courage and lodged complaint at Jaripatka police. Cops have booked Tuli under section 354, 323, 504 and 506, IPC and are investigating the matter.
