Vellore: Rajiv Gandhi assassination case convict A G Perarivalan was attacked with iron rods by fellow prisoners in Vellore Central Prison.
He is injured in the attack and is being treated inside the prison.
Perarivalan is one of the convicts serving life sentence for assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
