Nagpur: As a steady rise has been observed in cases of oral cancer in recent years, a CME was organize by Rashtrasant Tukdoji Cancer Hospital, Nagpur in collaboration with Government Dental College, VSPM Dental College and Sharad Pawar Dental College to increase awareness about the benefits of early diagnosis and newer technique in screening oral cancer.
The program was started by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Kartar Singh, Director, RSTCH, Nagpur.
Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, Vice chancellor of KIMS Karad was chief guest of Program. The Oral Screening Machine which is useful for early detection of oral cancer was also presented by Rashtrasant Tukdoji Cancer Hospital, Nagpur.
The keynotes speakers were Dr. Harish Kela, Dr Aniruddha Wagh, Dr. Rajlakshmi Banerjee, Dr. Subodh Purohit, Dr. Gaurav Jannawar, Dr. Akshay Dhobley, Dr. Kumar Kamble and Dr. Prashant Dhoke. The participants focused on newer techniques in treatment of oral cancer.
Dr. R. S. Shenoi, Dr. Varsha Manekar, Dr. B. K. Sharma, Dr. Saee Deshpande, Dr. Vivek Thombre, Dr. Tushar Mohade, Dr. Swati Patil, Dr. S. B. Sapre were prominent attendese in the program.
