Guwahati: Assam Governor Banwarilal Purohit today termed the Assembly elections results in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa as people’s acceptance of the Centre’s pro-people policies.
He congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi “for leading the party to historical mandate in the Assembly elections”.
The historical mandate confirmed that the people of our country “approved and appreciated” the measures like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Jan Dhan Yojna, surgical strike, demonetization and schemes for farmers, small entrepreneurs and poor, Purohit said in a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister.
