Nagpur: The first reunion of students of 1969 and 1970 batches of Shri Mathuradas Mohta Science Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur is being organized on Sunday, July 24 to mark the 52th Anniversary of the college.
The college had shaped the careers of many stalwarts who excelled in their professional careers as Doctors, Professors, Teachers, Dentists, Physiotherapists, Professionals, Researchers etc. College alumni like Dr. Chandrashekhar Devapujari, Dr. Vilas Dangre, Dr. Vitthal Dambhare, Dr. Uday Bodhankar have achieved exemplary positions. Dr. Sudhir Mangrulkar, Dr. Ram Thombre, Ed. Avinash Senad, Advocate Shendre are also some of such names.

During the event, tributes will be paid to the departed friends and teachers. A plantation drive, felicitation of teachers, donation of useful equipment/machines etc are also being planned by the organizing committee. Following which, “Get-together of Alumni” will be organized at Maharaj Bagh Club, near Bole Petrol Pump, Amravati Road Nagpur.
The organizing committee, headed by the conveners Dr. Ram Thombre and Dr. Uday Bodhankar, is working hard to make this fiesta a memorable and successful one and to rekindle the friendship.
