Road robbers relieve man of Rs 1.21 lakh booty at knife-point in Lakadganj

Nagpur:
A 50-year old man was looted of valuables worth Rs 1.21 lakh at knife-point by four persons in Lakadganj on Wednesday night.

A Quetta Colony resident Nilesh Haribhai Patel was going on his two-wheeler (MH-31/BL 7826). Near Vinayakrao Deshmukh Anath Vidyarthi Vasatigruha, four persons stopped Nilesh’s vehicle on the pretext of asking someone’s address. However, even before Nilesh could respond, one of the four accused persons whipped out a knife and snatched cash Rs 59,000, gold ring, a mobile phone from him and fled the spot. The road robbers took away booty worth Rs 1.21 lakh from Nilesh.

Lakadganj PSI Lokhande has booked the four unidentified accused under Sections 392, 34 of the IPC and searching for them.
