Road Safety Day held at Police headquarter's Shivaji Stadium

Police Commissionerate had organised a programme to observe the Road Safety Day at Shivaji Satdium, Police Headquarter, Katol Road. Total 45 schools’ Road Squads participate in the parade while 6 schools presented cultural programme and gave a message of unity and awareness.

Additional Police Commissioner Shivaji Bodkhe presided over the function while RTO Sharad Jichkar, Deputy Commissioner of Police Bharne, Shweta Khedkar, Rahul Makhanikar graced the occasion.

The audience witnessed a unique combination of discipline and entertainment. The programme was organised under the guidance of Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) by Road Safety Squad PI Ashok Patki, Traffic PI Durge, Road Safety Squad employees and teachers.

The programme was conducted by PSI Namrata Jadhav and Sangeeta Shriniwas.

Thr prizes were given for parade in Boys category- First prize to Rajendra High School, Mahal, Second prize to Modern High School, Koradi, Third prize to Shahu’s Garden Convent, Manewada. In girls Category Anjuman High School, Sadar, Second prize-Jhaveri High School, Hiwri Nagar, Third prize Nagpure Vidyalaya, Bharat Nagar. The parade was led by Himanshu Mishra and Gargi Deshmukh.

The cultural programme prizes were given to first prize-Modern High School Koradi for Bharud, Second – St Jhaveri High School, Hiwri for Vandematram and the third prize to Shahu’s Garden School, Manewada for Shriram Katha.
