Nagpur: Two moped-borne robbers snatched away a purse containing cash and a cellphone from an elderly woman at New Lok Kalyan Society in Manish Nagar
. A resident of Flat No 603, Building No 04, Gokulpark, Manish Nagar, Reshma Gopichand Ahuja (63) and her neighbour Urvashi Choubey were returning from from Dr Megha Bobde’s clinic around 2.15 pm on Monday. In front of Shiv Shakti Apartment at New Lok Kalyan Society in Manish Nagar, two robbers, who were in their twenties, came on a moped from behind.
The pillion rider snatched the purse containing a mobile phone worth Rs 5000 and some cash from Reshma Ahuja. Before she could raise an alarm, the robbers sped away.
After recording the victim’s statement, Beltarodi Police registered a case under Section 392 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and launched a search for the robbers
