Robbers snatch gold chain worth Rs 60,000 from Nandavan area

Nagpur News: On Tuesday evening, two motorcycle-borne youths snatched a gold chain from an old woman worth Rs 60,000 under Nandanvan police station area. The complainant Lila Jagjeevandas Wasane (65), a resident of Bunglow No. 45, 46, Vyankatesh Nagar, informed police that she was walking near Sheetala Mata Mandir, Nandanvan when two motorcycle-born youths came from rear and the pillion rider snatched her gold chain worth Rs 60,000. Before she could raise an alarm, the robbers fled away from the spot.

Police said that a case of theft under Section 392 and 34 of the IPC has been registered against the robbers.
