Ritu Makesar and Nirman Delikar won the Gold Medals in Rope Skipping, held under the Khasdar Krida Mahotsav 2025 at Durga Nagar NMC School Ground on 25th January, 2025.
Over 300 boys and girls of all ages, participated in the Rope Skipping event, which was inaugurated by Shri Sunil Manekar, Co-ordinator, Khasdar Krida Samiti, and Dr. Tejinder Singh Rawal, CA & Director of Nagpur Rope Skipping Association.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Tejinder Singh Rawal said that Rope Skipping is the fastest growing grassroot level sport in the world, and motivated the participants to play at State, National and International levels and bring laurels to the country.

Shri Sunil Manekar in his speech praised the sportspersons, and mentioned that Khasdar Krida Mahotsav, the brainchild of Shri Nitin Gadkari, has become the biggest platform in the country for giving exposure to grassroot level sports and players.
Siddhant Tantrapale, Manaswini Harde, Samrat Meshram and Devashri Gajbhiye also won Silver and Bronze medals at the event.
5 National Level Gold medal winners for Nagpur, at the recently held National Rope Skipping Championships in Chandigarh, were also felicitated at the event.
Councillors Shri Deepak Choudhari, Shri Abhay Gotekar, Smt. Rupali Thakur, Smt. Kalpana Kumbhalkar, and Sports Officer Shri Peeyush Ambulkar were Chief Guests on the occasion.
Shri Rohit Tokhi, Ashish Deshpande, Bhushan Maidule, RJ Tejal, Dinesh Dhawane, Jyoti Varier, Sadaf Merchant, Aadesh Walde and all members of Nagpur Rope Skipping Association worked hard for the success of the event.
