Nagpur: – Members of the Rotary Club of Nagpur North, alongside Anns and Rotakids, embarked on a heartfelt mission to Rahul Bal Sadan Orphanage, a longstanding beneficiary of their community support. Located in Nagpur, this orphanage has been a focal point for the club’s charitable efforts for more than two decades.
During their recent visit on July 14th, Rotarians engaged warmly with the children, offering companionship and donating essential everyday items. President Manisha Manghani took the opportunity to inquire about the children’s aspirations, revealing dreams of becoming doctors, IAS officers, teachers, soldiers, and police officers. This interaction not only inspired the children but also underscored the Rotary Club’s commitment to fostering ambition and resilience in young hearts.
Among the Rotakids, young Ark Pun shared his reflections on the visit, expressing admiration for the children’s resilience in facing life’s challenges without parental guidance. Rotakid Director Ssuhana Madnani highlighted the enriching experience for all 15 participating Rotakids, emphasizing the life lessons learned about gratitude and empathy.
Community Director Swapnil Band spoke warmly about the event’s significance, noting the emotional impact and the record participation of Rotakids under Ssuhana Madnani’s guidance. The event was attended by 18 Rotarians, 15 Rotakids, and more than 35 orphaned children, marking it as a memorable and impactful day for all involved.
The occasion also served as a platform for appreciation, with heartfelt thanks extended to notable contributors including Mrs. Laxmi Massand, Mr. and Mrs. Goenka, Deepesh and Rakhi Bhartiya, Sumit and Vinal Pandya, and others who generously supported the initiative through donations of cash and kind.
